Would go great with this 15% credit back AMEX deal which includes R.M. Williams:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/695975

    • Don’t see why not

    • Great boots! I'd managed to convert the whole family to them for good reason.

Copped the Warwick and found I had the 15% thanks for the heads up!

      • +7

The Warwick is such a…. an extreme colour though….

        • Yeah was tempted by the Warwick but not sure about that colour..

        • Works well with jeans.
It's close to my kangaroo tanbark colour

        • +1

I've worn black and chestnut for a decade. Let me live!

I think it'll work well with blue jeans

    • Do you know if AMEX will still provide the 15% credit back if you add the offer to your card after purchasing?

    • has anyone got 15% back yet?

      • I didn't actually buy anything from R.M. Williams this time round, but I can share some experiences from the past. You have to buy directly with the credit card and not use the card through a third party service like PayPal. Even so, I've used offers correctly before and they haven't triggered. A call to American Express describing the issue should sort it out provided all other conditions have been met.

      • You’ll need to ring amex and complain to get your 15% back as it didn’t track

    • +27

Except the 3 boots mentioned are all made in Australia.

      • +1

He’s probably referring to the other 95% of their products that are made in China.

    • +8

When you don't do your research…

Someone has a chip on their shoulder.

        • +4

          What?

        • So whose getting all the sales in the bush?

        • +4

Hungary Jacks, they sell the best Eastern European burgers.

    • +3

Not true at all, they’re still very well made Aussie boots. I’ve got several pairs and can’t tell the difference from boots made twenty years ago when I first started wearing them.

      Dynamic Flex ftw

    • +5

Perhaps your recent poor experience was a result of your ignorance and lack of research?

    • +2

Made in Adelaide Brah. What are you talking about haha

    • -5

Your racism stinks. I'm sure RM is ashamed to have a customer like you.

    • +3

I agree.. I was at RM Williams shop today and tried on a $400 denim jacket that was made in China. They could have manufactured it in Australia and still made a huge profit at $400.

      • +3

This is disappointing. You're paying for the brand instead then.

    • +4

Look like ozb full of RMW fan boys, most of their products are now made in else where except some high profile shoes.

      • Ever looked at the Shoes? They're made in Adelaide. Maybe the other apparel is a different story though.

    • Someone's computer is not ok, its clearly malfunctioning
      .

  • +2

Might be true for clothing but pretty sure the boots are made in Australia.

  • +2

    dats cheep
    Perfect to Broden.

  • Are these specials also in store or online only

  • Bought 372 on iconic yesterday and now it’s a lot cheaper!

    • I was a bit pissed when I missed the Iconic deal. Now I am kinda glad. Copped a pair.

      • which colour you got, the Warwick?

        • Yup

    • sale is only this warwick colour, right?

  • +2

What polish does this colour need? I can't find "Warwick"

    • +1

Any insights regarding the polish colour? Any help is appreciated, cheers!

Edit: I would say dark tan is the closest colour.

  • Thanks! Got a pair of their yard boots….hopefully serves me well on dog walks during the cold and wet CBR winter. Perfect timing.

  • +1

No size for COMFORT TURNOUT BOOT

    • was there? so fast!

      • Only those full price are available.

  • Anyone know about the fit on the yard boots? 1 size down from regular Adidas size sound about right?

    • I'd suggest you go into a store, find your size, then buy at the next deal

    • +1

      I am a 7 yard boot & 8 ultraboost if that helps

    • Page says to go up half a size from normal

    • The recommendation on their site says to go half a size down from your Adidas size.

  • +1

I was gonna grab the comfort craftsman but wide isn’t available. This review said they were well made but pinched his little toe as they are a narrow design.
    https://youtu.be/mLXflRQWhf4

  • +1

    Website getting smashed.

    • And nothing in "normal" sizes left.

  • Shame it only came in standard width

    • +6

      That's what… Never mind.

    • Did have wide sizes at time of deal posting for the Craftsman

  • +2

Dang, would have loved a pair of the suede Turnouts, all sold out :(

    • +1

Yep, OzB absolutely tearing through the stock.

    • I look away from ozbargain for a few hours… Been waiting to grab a pair of suede RMs! :(

  • +2

Copped the Warwick Craftsman. Stunning colour

    • +1

Same reason why some cars are 500 grand, or laptops that sell for 4 grand. A better comparison would be high quality furniture outside of the standard retailers.

    • +2

How can a Lamborghini be worth half a mil? Just buy a Corolla…

    • Let's say an Aus shoemaker makes 3 pairs a day. (Optimistic) $40 an hour for em including super etc. Plus shop, Plus materials, Plus running stores, management, advertising.

      It all adds up.

      • 3 pairs a day? Surely you don't mean RM Williams.

        • Even worse then, $304 just for the labor on one pair per day.

    • One that is made in Australia with Australian labourer. Have you ever called a tradie downunder and thought, “wow that is absolutely cheap”

  • I am holding out for the may sale in Toowoomba

    • Is this sale only in Toowoomba?
I'll have to take an hour and a half train there if it's that good of a bargain.

      • +1

Yep already booked my night accommodation in Toowoomba for it.

        • True OzBagain spirit spending money to save money, respect.

    • Could you share the dates for this sale please?

      • 5th to the 15th of may at there outlet intoowoomba

        • Awesome, thanks. Is it better to go on the first day, or do they restock throughout?

  • all sizes nearly gone. boo

    • +2

dude buy any size and exchange in store for correct size

      • don't think that would work dude

        • Yea, you colud exchange in store easily. they are pretty flexible with this. 100% would let you exchange for correct size

          • @aoeueoa: How do you exchange something that isn't sold anymore? This is likely the last stock of CCs in the Warwick colourway that was released in 2020. You can't exchange for a different size and if you try to exchange for a different colour e.g. chestnut or black, the staff will quickly catch on to what you are doing.

        • +1

also in their return policy on the site

      • +2

They are clearance shoes. No way they will exchange them.

  • +1

    Warwick - no more sizes

  • +1

warwick ccs seem to be out of stock, lucky or i would have bought another in addition to the 2 from yesterday 😅

  • Damn no sizes :(

  • No sizes on anything now

  • Yep all gone. Great orices

  • all gone :(

Seems to be an "imported" shoe, not made by RM?

      • What makes you say this? Curious because I bought them last night but wasnt totally sold on them, relying on that free and easy return

        • +1

It's on the description as "imported".

I'd guess that they are designed in Aus, materials from the same places as the SA made ones, but they are probably constructed in Indonesia or China.

We purchased a few of the imported pairs. At $50, it'll still be a great price and outcome.

    • Are these Goodyear welted shoes?
