[Switch] Urban Flow: Extended Edition $1.50 @ Nintendo eShop

550

Lowest price ever for the extended version of this fun, yet chaotic, puzzle game. Great for family co-op (it can get quite intense and heated in my household). Worth it at this price of $1.50 which is 94% off.

Number of players: Offline: 1 - 4
Download size: 4.08 GB
Metacritic: 80

DESCRIPTION
Urban Flow is a game about the subtle beauty of city streets filled with cars moving in perfect harmony. But such order does not happen all by itself - the city needs YOU to control the traffic lights and to make sure everything goes smoothly. That means no crashes, no jams. Everything will run perfectly - as long as you stay focused!

Immerse yourself in a beautiful, hand-crafted, low-poly world to discover the enormous satisfaction of watching the hundreds of tiny, colourful cars flowing through the streets – all while listening to the chill, urban music.

Over 100 levels, each with its own busy intersection. You have one job: operate the lights and keep it safe.

Party Game (even if you party all alone!)
Play by yourself or with friends in scalable drop-in, drop-out local co-op mode for two, three, or four players!

You can help your friends or be a little rascal and spread the chaos!

Avoid accidents by paying close attention to special vehicles and to the other players. Special vehicles include the ambulance, which can’t wait for long, and the tank – which will plough through anything in its way.

Don’t want to play the campaign?
Try our score-based Endless Mode or the Chill Mode - where you play for as long as you want, no rush and no score - only you and the music. Urban Flow is designed to be a great single player experience!

Discover various environments and weather conditions. Play with touch controls, Nintendo Switch™ Pro Controller or Joy-Con™. Complete challenges and unlock rewards.

In expansion pack for Urban Flow you will find:

• New "Challenge" Mode
• 20 new levels to explore
• new obstacles

Become one with the flow. The Urban Flow!

  • What's it like as a solo game?

    • Still a fun game to play solo, especially on the go in handheld mode.

      • Why/how is it less fun in docked mode?

        • Not any less fun. Meant that I like playing this as a time filler on-the-go in handheld mode. Just us fun in docked, especially with co-op.

Are they driving on the right side or left side like us?

    • +5

      Right (wrong) side

    • Not sure why we got negged 🤷‍♂️

Maybe some Ozbargainers originally from the USofA saw "wrong" being used as a negative. Here, have a plus!

I wish games like this had a "localise" option, tick this and it would mirror the driving habits, (maybe just mirror the whole screen would be easier). Yes, it may affect some gameplay, it's just an idea.

Is it easier single player or coop? E.g. overcooked single player I find it's a nightmare

Easier single player as my co-op involves children under 10. However with adults I could see it being easier, depending who you’re playing with and whether you’re good at cooperating.

        Cool, I've grabbed it!

Had $.99 worth of points so 51 cents lol.

My kids love it, saw a youtube review and after they played 2 or 3 levels I grabbed this.

My 3 youngest kids (oldest is 12) and we love it. Loved Overcooked, and also Boomerang Fu which is a blast.

        Thanks OP!

I swear my daughter and I had this idea about three years ago. We were calling it Traffic Jaaaaaam! Same basic gameplay and everything. Still going to grab this.
