      Yep, unless it goes below $1.4k.. at that price I think we all expect a Sony A80J for $1799 or LG C1 for $1895 now. 😃

    Last time I looked into Philips as a TV brand (maybe 3 years ago) reviews were on par with the some of the cheap stuff from BigW. I don't know if that's changed in that time though

    But not sure on the LCD panel models.
