Perfect timing. Just got my Fanatec DD few days ago

    • which power supply did you go with?

They didn’t have the DD Pro bundle. So I end up ordering the DD Pro 8Nm + V3 pedals + McLaren V2 steering. Upgrading from the CSL Elite PS4 F1 bundle.

I never liked the GT steering and the new CSL pedals loadcell didn’t get a lot of good reviews.

V3 pedals is such a major difference, the LC on the brakes are amazing.

        • Thanks. I aim to go something similar with the V3 pedals and DD 8Nm (will try to hack one) though I'm 50/50 on the shifter and still deciding on the wheel.

          • @Caped Baldy: There are power supply options on eBay. Not 100% how reliable they are but my issue is that I can’t get the DD pro base unit without bundle nor the 8Nm pack.

    • congrats on ordering 4 months ago!

One of the best Sim racing game on the market.

  • good game, owned and played it since its development days. Definitely a step up from original AC but I've never felt as in control or get that same feeling of speed. VR also still needs a bit of work if you're looking to use that, as your screen resolution can mess up how it functions when you're in the car. Recently got Automobilista 2 and dare I say it's quite a bit more enjoyable both in racing feel and VR experience… though obviously ACC is licenced to world GT if you're into that series.

    • Not sure if it is me, but I had 2 tries at AM2 and I didn't like the feel of cars. And I don't get it why it doesn't play well with my fanatec DD even I spent a lot time tuning it to work.

      • I only got it in the last 2 weeks and it's working fine with my CSW 2.5… in fact I have to turn FFB down to about 60% to not tire out after 10 laps. I like how the tracks feel more authentic with incline and declines, with ACC and especially AC, often feeling flat.

  • This is all about having consistency over long stints
