How is this better than a Mikasa or Spalding volleyball which can be had for a fraction of the cost at $20?

  Mikasa has different ranges… The top ones definitely don't cost $20 lol! The more expensive ones tend to have better cushioning that allows for better handling and control. They're also heavier and more predictable/consistent when the ball is moving through the air.

  This is a lot better than the $20 counterparts.
  
  Materials, feel, weight and patterning are different which all affect how the ball travels through the air. Feel/patterning can make a huge difference when setting/passing.
  
  Good to note that most Australian leagues play with the Mikasa volleyballs instead. The V200W or V300W are the equivalent. (Also around this price)

I don't think you can compare this to Mikasa v200 or 300w. If you aren't into real volleyball play then this might be ok but otherwise get the Mikasa.
