      A good soundbar will always sound better than a TV. Even stereo /Dolby Digital will sound better on a soundbar that a tv with Atmos or TrueHD

      Speaker size and quality is more important than codec.

        I have both of these and they're very equal in sound quality. Yamaha has the app but this one doesn't, both have a sub out so if you add a decent sub it will give you very decent sound. Highly recommend this one.

    Just get a creative labs stage sound bar with sub for $129 delivered. Much better sound.

      I know it's not always about length but the creative one looks small (at 550mm). Then denon is 890mm.

      Is it that much better?

        All i can tell u i have high end Samsung soundbar system and also the Creative labs one and Im super surprised how well the CL one works. I wouldnt attribute size to performance in this class.

            @pOint01: no, its bright I give that. I just put a black tape over and cant see it (as I dont need to know its on HDMI as thats the only mode I use)
