Not sure if it's in store too, but it's certainly a good deal on their website. Looks like other pokemon products on sale too but not as good a deal as this, both are $80 at Ebgames.

      Yup they have all the items you need to start including rules and energy cards etc.

        Are pokemon cards just going through power creep each generation? Eg each new generation is strictly better than the previous?

          Pokemon cards - Yes for the most part. They need to keep the game and meta fresh, part of that is rotation of what "standard" format is, but also new gameplay dynamics and "special cards", which inevitably means more powerful cards.
