Been waiting for this. I find with the attachments, sometimes the seat can slide around and the bidet mechanism can protrude a little limiting your filth opening.

Hate it when my filth opening is limited.

      Thats the cold water….

    Prefer this one from Bunnings.
Slightly more expensive, a little cheaper with powerpass.

The other samodra attachment I have has a steel inlet. That's what really held me to these ones. Last thing you want is the inlet to crack and water leak because you wanted to save a buck.

In saying that, Bunnings one looks fine.

    • I have the smart Bunnings one. Noticed the brand has changed from D'Lucci…now to Evekare. Been going strong for 3 years now. Definitely worth paying more for warm water and heated seat.

    • +1

Another point to note is the hose connector for this Bunnings is on the other side compared to the Samodra. It's a cleaner look to have the connector on same side as your tap outlet. I have the Bunnings one and it's been great.

    • I have this one, bought it for $20 on clearance sale two years ago. From last month soft close lid is not working anymore.

    • What does it meant by "Powered Bidet" i can't see it requires a power connection to work. Am i missing anything here.

      • You're missing the word before Powered, which is Water… "Water Powered Bidet".

  • What’s the benefit of getting this one compared to the cheaper model?

This is a full seat not just attachment

Cold water to your bum without enough pressure
    Think about it

    • Cold water to my bum? I'll jump with my pants down.

    • using cold water helps the sphincter seal up

  • Any recommendation for hot water bidet seat?

    • +4

      100°C will cook your anus.

      • Guess it’s been cooking for last 5 years then.

      • You mean boil not cook. Cooking need least 180C plus

  • +2

I’d gladly pay 5x extra for heated seat and heated water.

    Cold water is just miserable.

    • +2

      Depends what you're in to.

  • +1

    …your filth opening?

    • I know right, outrageous. I normally just call it Turd Maker

      • Personally, I like the ring of "chocolate starfish"

    • Poo pump

  • What do you guys do to get power in the toilet? Extension cable?

    • +2

Electric bike attachment. I pedal while I sit

      • I thought you said sit. 💩

    • +4

Either extension cable which is ugly and a bit dangerous, or electrician to install a powerpoint next to the toilet. Just noting this is a non-powered bidet though.

    • +1

      mine's methane powered

  • never buy toilet paper again.

I love the name Biden, its named after a President so it must be good.

    • -1

You would want it to be a bit more competent. I don't think President Biden remembers what he had for breakfast…

  • +1

I prefer the Xiaomi ones which has heated seats. Probably not as important if you're living in QLD or WA, but absolutely a necessity in VIC!

    • How do you manage the power usage? I feel they are kind of a waste since you're only sitting on it for a few times a day at most but the heat would be always on?

      • +1

They draw very little heat. It works out to an extra $15 per year or so, which I'd gladly pay for.

        • That's good to hear. Thanks.

  • How does this compared to a manual bidet? (Hose with nozzle you spray yourself with)
They seem less complicated than this. I guess I'm just curious how the aiming works for these.

    • +4

easy. you dont move around the hose, you move around the filth-opening

    • +1

These work very well. Have been using them for years. You adjust and move around a little bit when using them.

  • I am worry that in HOT Australian summer your sphincter will burn for second or two…

  • I don't see a watermark certification or a back-flow valve. If this is the case, this is illegal and not safe. There is danger the thing can contaminate the water supply.
Xiaomi Uclean Whale Spout sells Australian models with watermark certification. Buy that instead.
Also, try explaining to your insurance the flooding was caused by an illegal toilet attachment.
