  • Alright deal I guess, nothing incredible

  • how about if I'm with Three at the moment? Still get the 10%?

    • +2

yes you can, first you can come into a Vodafone store and as them to transfer to Vodafone from 3 (all FREE, and your contract will be ported to Vodafone with equivalent plan value till the end of your contract, make sure you tell the salesperson you are 'transfer the service from 3 to Vodafone because you received an email to tell you so', not PORTING or Re-sign another contract upon this current one. It would take just a day to transfer you to Vodafone, then you can get another HTC One X with 10% discount or you can simply just upgrade your current one if it is due soon ;). Vodafone is not that bad to me personally as i am living in cities, so, fair enough!

  • If you're with 3, call up customer service and customer retention say you want to switch to voda can they upgrade you for free with a new 2 year plan or 1 year plan. then ask for discount. My friend changed from 3 to voda and got a One X for $45 per month with 2 months free. 2 year contract. No beats earphones though

    sigh

Really don't wanna format another comment about why it'd be better to buy this outright and go on a LC $11/Mo outright plan.

    This is no deal.

      Or click here.

    • Can I make international calls with LC $11/Mo plan? Looking into changing to LC, the offer looks great…

      • No they are extra. LC aren't as good as they seem as you will find out.

          Lol they certainly are.

Or you could explain to us why they aren't and compare them with Vodafone.

Voda credit can be used on international calls, which is a plus compare to the LC deal…

      • if you want international calls as well, go on $17.99 TPG plan (or $14.99 if TPG broadband customer) which has equivalent credit as $11 live connected.

xDefine!! You are consistent with comments on vodafone deals. Loved your comments in previous deals.
Looks like a Army (Battlefield) attack on Vodafone. :)

While the quality of the Vodafone network has been well documented (using 3 at the moment, which I'm guessing is about the same), this deal has its merits since the whole $550 value included with the cap can be used for international calls which might be more beneficial to some people.

    • Mr Knowledgeable, is the Live Connected network coverage good and is their service any good? I'm sure there are many people like me, who have the excellent $49 Telstra plan for the HTC Desire coming to an end very shortly.

I went to LC's website and they use the Optus network, which is 2nd to Telstra but do you know if LC users somehow get a lower preference to the Optus customers?

I'd love to import the Samsung Galaxy S3, but Telstras BYO plans are expensive considering their cheapest plan is my current cost. But I was looking at this deal as the HTC X One is a good smart phone but you have turned me off of it.

  • Crazy Johne's $45/month + $50 visa prepaid gift card.
    http://www.crazyjohns.com.au/mobile-phones/

    • There's no free calls to boss on crazy John's. ..hush bargain with voda to get same deal

      • crazy john has also got free calls to crazy john , vodafone and 3

  • I was also going to buy this phone but gonna wait till the price drops bit further :)

I thought Beats headphone was included in all HTC One Series. Or am I misled by other HTC products?

    Haha thanks.

Just letting the public know that most of Vodafones "deals" are usually rip offs and there are much better value plans out there, without going on a 24 Month contract.

Maybe with the $29 plans it'd be a good deal on Virgin, they actually have ok amounts of call and data for the price.

Do i know you on BF3?

    • Yes, Vodafone can be a rip off, if your friends or family are not with vodafone.
Else they are quite good for following reasons:
      1. Unlimited calls between 3, vodafone and crazy johns.
      2. Virgin does not include 1300 and 1800 numbers which you use the most when in office during lunch time (international numbers were not aded earlier, but are added now) from the monthly credit. You have to pay extra.
      3. Buying from moneyback gives some money back making phone cheaper than virgin.
Also when at home, I use landline to make calls.

For BF3, I Saw your profile pic :)
      Why have you removed it?

      • Changed my e-mail address with OzB

vodafone is great for me in Hawthorn East, Brighton, Vic. download speed is 300kps even faster than the tpg adsl 2+. but the tpg, amaysim, optus, etc, what are on the optus network are not good to get 3g connection in boorondara, vic at all, where has been told in the black spot of Optus.
