2cpp for the maximum 150+45k points at $3999. Better value can be found in the OzB classifieds.

What's the point, I have 900k points and can't ever seen to find points for international flights when I want.

    • How about all those domestic points planes yesterday tho ;)

        Yawn.

      • Best value has always been business class internationally.

      I feel you.
The easier way is to fly out somewhere and redeem the flight to another destination.

I found lots of tickets that can be redeem on JAL, Cathay and Malaysia airlines but none for Qantas

      • Qantas is inferior to JAl CX and MY in redeeming points because QFF doesn't worth much, and have went through hyper inflation.

Every cats and dogs are sitting on many QFF points without even being on a plane. Where as the other three don't just "print points" like Qantas.

American Airlines for instance prints far more points, people come by them much easier, and yet they still have more availability on partner airlines than Qantas has on routed using say, Malaysian Airlines for instance.

Even Alaska Airlines has more availability (with worse value though). Point is Qantas is stingy with partners and their own seats.

Alternatively you can transfer to me :)

Expensive. Who here would pay 2c per point and you have to spend $4k to even get that price.

  • +1

They must be short of cash, selling points for non existent rewards. The program is so diluted.

  • +4

Whats the point there are barely any seats for business class award redemptions unless you have Gold status or above

  • Nice when a company lets us know how much they their own stock

Sounds like a win-win for Qantas, they get your cash then you have to contact their call centre if/when they stuff-up your points balance only to be ignored and hung-up on. Also, no guarantee they will not enhance their FF programme again by increasing the points required for reward flights.
