You think the rep can give a discount for the 0.6m length?

    • +1

May be.. no harm asking as you never know :)

    • The shorter cables are often times more expensive due to the limited demand on them vs longer cables - IMO.

  • how do you contact the rep?

  • Thanks OP

doh. limit of one cable. subsequently not able to apply discount code again.

$12+ seems expensive for a 1m lighting cable.

  • Is this more advantageous over a USB3.0 to lightning cable?

    • +2

Yes. This provide fast charging for new iPhones and iPads (from 2017) compared to the USB-A

  • will this work with ipad lighting out to usb c in to scarlett solo?

    Apparently:

MFi certified for CHARGE ONLY, not data/sync

    • Thanks for the heads up

    • Apparently,

      “Special features”
“PD fast charging, MFi-certified, built-to-last, stable file transfer, satisfaction guaranteed.”

[Stable File Transfer] – Stably and securely transfer movies, music, and more between your iPhone and MacBook, without having to worry about the dreaded “Accessory may not be supported” alert.

      So yeah, I’m confused 😐

      • That quote kind of backs up the Amazon review claims. MFi certified for charging, the quote mentions it in the same line. Not MFi certified for data sync, it's absent in the quote. It can do data sync, but it's not certified to do it, which in reality means it will stop working with a future major iOS update.

        • Oh right!! Thanks for clearing it up!

Is there a code for the longer 6.6ft cable?

    • I need that, too. please

  • Any discount on the little magnetic connector nibs? Where you just lead the cable to the phone it magnetically connects? Or know a good shop to source them?

  • Thanks OP, Baseus cables have been very unreliable lately so bought this one to give it a go.

  • How do these compare to something like this https://banggood.onelink.me/zMT7/9rgdm403? apart from the shipping times will this be better? I know blitzwolf gets a lot of love here.

The one in your link is USB-C to USB-C.

      • Ah thanks didn't see the lightning part

  • Currently using the one from IKEA, with a 122% apple tax included. STIFF cable is a PITA.

Legit question, what is the difference between this and the Kogan/cheaper USB-C to lightning cable? $12.59 seems a bit high for one of these?

    • im curious about this too.

      • is Kogan cable MFi certified?

        • No idea.. does it make a difference? Not being facetious, genuinely curious.

          • @GuniGuGu: I have heard that non MFI cable can stop working after iOS updates. I mostly used Baseus non-mfi cables and it worked each time until just recently when two cables died within a few months. No idea whether the iOS upgrade killed them or they were just lemons.

I guess if the Kogan cable works for you then go for it, no need to pay premium.

        • This one isn't completely MFi certified only so not guaranteed it'll keep working with future iOS updates either.

It's MFi certified for charging only, not data transfer

          • @brosk1s: Interesting - not sure why Apple make things complicated! In any case, I will be just happy to have this cable worked for charging for longer than a few years. I barely do data transfer via cable, its all in the clouds for me ;)

  • Trying to add two 3.3ft, two 0.6ft. Discount only applies to 3.3ft, that’s fine. But it keeps defaulting expensive expedited shipping, offering free as an option. I choose that, it accepts and it still says $5.99 for shipping. WTH??

Amazon has no excuse for failing something SO simple in 2022.
