Misplaced 1 of my MTW2s and decided its time to grab another set as spares while I continue my search.
Jumped onto JB Commercial to check pricing and saw the 3s were at $324… so… SOLD!
RRP - $399.
So far, can't tell much difference sound wise to the 2s. The 3s have a slightly deeper bass reproduction which is interesting as they have the same frequency response range (apparently) to the 2s. Assuming the variation on the frequency (+/-db) would be different.
Found the 2s were more comfortable out of the box and sit better in my ears, but yet to change out the 3s ear rubbers.
2s felt heavier and of a better build quality, 3s are lighter and may have an ever so slight (marginal) noise cancelling advantage.
Yet to have a call with the 3s. Only used them for around 30mins so far.
3s have wireless charging also. 2s only usb.
All in all for only a $50 note more to the recently discounted price on the 2s, pretty happy so far…
Any one else wanting a set, this seems to be the cheapest seller so far, and a great discount consider they have only been on the market for a couple of days!
