Chrysanthemums $3 @ Kmart Campbellfield (VIC)

280

Kmart was selling 4" pots of chrysanthemum plants (not just cut flowers) for $10 for mother's day but they're now discounted to $3 since the Great Annual Consumer Guilt Trip is almost over.

They're all rather sad looking flowers now, and a bit limp but the colours are easily distinguished and the plants themselves cost more at nurseries (including Kmart Garden) so if you're into gardening this is a good chance to get some cheaper chrysanthemums to brighten up the yard. There are around 40 left in Campbellfield, and I assume this deal may exist in other stores.

  • great im going to go past this Kmart today
    and pick up a few

    hope they're still alive

  • Yea I'm at cambepellfeild kmart now

They are all $1 and all dead looking

They still got heaps like 100 of them

  • There are actually some quite respectable chrysanthemums (flower-wise) amongst the mothers day potted varieties - often varieties not readily available as potted plants, and as already mentioned, a fraction of the price. Buy them and pop into the garden, then next year they'll pop into bud around April or so and give a fantastic show. They'll grow to about 60 or 70 cm in the garden.
