I'm not scared of covid for myself actually, I'm just interested in limiting my impact on the 250+ deaths a week, particularly my loved ones. It's a logical decision for me to do easy things to limit my impact.

What are you basing your belief on that it's impossible for humans to reduce spread of a virus? I've never heard anyone make that assertion before. Surely you can look at the number of deaths per capita between Australia in 2020-2021, and the rest of the world, and see that there is a correlation there? It's a really odd statement to make.

Yep, I've gone to a psychologist before, while my mother was on her deathbed from cancer. Absolutely no shame in that, it's a great way to deal with your emotions head on so that you're not taking them out in other, unproductive ways.
It's why I suggested it to you, because you seem like you've got a lot of unresolved feelings from how your life's been affected by the pandemic. You're not even able to see something as simple as a sale on rat tests without writing comments making false claims about their efficacy, based on nothing other than your emotions towards them. The attitude that blokes just have to toughen up and shouldn't seek therapy needs to go away. Not sure it should be perceived as a bad thing. You should stay open to it.

Actually, I'm in the minority of people who have had annual flu jabs, their uptake has been quite low til this year. Particularly 15 years ago. So if "thinking for yourself" (i.e. being in the minority) is so important to you, unfortunately you're in the majority in regards to not having an influenza jab. Does that make you a sheep?
Again, I know I can personally fight off a flu, and most likely covid, but again, it's not about me. This test is marked " professional use only" in the instructions and comes with the long swab used by nurses at covid test centres. It is not the Testsealabs home self test home use kit on the TGA self test comparison website ( instructions and swab are different )
