I bought the Sony XR85X95J for $4199.40 delivered in April.

Wish I didn't.

The 85U80G is a better screen in every way IMHO and is only $3799.99 delivered.

  Does anyone know how long delivery takes? Do they deliver from a local costco or does it come from another place?

    I called them to confirm - it's likely from their Sydney locations, usually takes ~1-2 weeks in NSW, and 2-3 weeks for VIC and QLD. Delivered by a courier services.

    Online is already OOS, not sure if there will be more in-store.

    It was an excellent deal. The better the deal, the less time it lasts.

    This is the best price ever on this TV by a long, long way. Its now in runout, being replaced by 85U90G.

      I realised it was a good deal, and I've been here long enough to know good deals disappear fast, but I thought Costco would have had enough stock to last at least 48 hours, especially since I didn't think a nearly $4000 TV would have run off the shelves quite so quickly.

        I learnt from the Sony Education deals that $4000 TV's still sell fast. I wish I hadn't got the Sony, I would prefer this.

            @Meconium: Completely different.

            The U8G is 4K, VIDAA OS, not fully HDMI 2.1 compliant, 4K @ 60HZ. It's a nice TV - but doesnt hold a candle to the U80G

  Go into JB Hi Fi to check the Hisenses out and ask about the specifics would be my recommendation. And EOFY sale is just around the corner, so you might be able to pick one up in stores
