Terrible value. The RX 6600 is only $30 more and much more powerful.

Beat you! To be fair, not so hard for me to do. :p

@McFly: Ah ok, felt it was a reference I wasn’t familiar with. Didn’t neg btw

  • +1

    Seriously? They're selling RX6600's for $30 more!

  • +1

just like said above, 6600 is a much better bang for your buck

  • +1

Goodone, but 6600 or 2060? Wanna upgrade for ryzen 3600 cpu with tight budget? Which is better. Thank you.

    • +2

6600 is about 11% better than 2060 and 2gb more vram

      • The 2gb VRAM is heavily negated by the RX 6600 only using a 128 bit bus, so the bandwidth is a meagre 224 GB/s. Whereas the 2060 has 336 GB/s bandwidth. So the Nvidia card will actually scale a lot better with higher resolutions and VRAM usage, with the exception of perhaps static textures (but games will usually automatically load lower quality textures once VRAM runs out, which is rarely noticeable from going to Ultra from High).

    • 6600

    • If you want to mine crypto or play games with DLSS, the 2060. Otherwise, RX 6600.

  • +2

Rx 6600 is about 50% more performance for like $30 more

    • It's not that bad. The 3050 is about 20-25% behind the 6600 for rasterization, and the 1660 super is 25-30%. But then the 1660 Super doesn't have DLSS or ray-tracing to make up for the worse performance.

The 1660 super's only saving grace was efficient GPU mining with no LHR limiter, but now that's almost dead and LHR is unlocked (bar LHR V3 which is 90%+ unlocked), it really has no right to be anywhere near $400.

Funny how they are now trying to get rid of shitty stock. EOFY's gonna be funny

    • +2

Haha i hope so! I'm looking forward to "3080 for about $1k" funny. Am I being too optimistic?

  • +2

No deal, you're gonna have to do better than that retailers

  • +1

There is no point posting crappy GPU deals now, they are in stock and 'deals' like this are over priced.

    Please pickup the 6600.

  • +1

lol.. 3 weeks ago every miner will jump into this straight away but now.. it is different story..

  • OK, let me see. This deal is exactly 2 years late! This would be attractive 2 years ago not now.

    • +1

2 years ago hey?… I'll check it out.

      • +4

2 years ago this would have been ~$300, so still no deal haha.

        • Yeah, you are right

  • Good only for miners at this price.

  • its $369 now on BPC
