What to ask your retailer when buying your sheepskin products.
Where are your skins from?
Where are they processed?
Are the boots hand cut, hand stitched, hand glued in Australia?
Ask for the address of manufacturer and tannery. There should be no reason why your retailer cannot provide you with details of the origin of your boots.

    • Can you share the source of your comment or are you just saying that all Australian manufacturers use disabled people getting paid $5 an hour on their production lines?

      • Putting us able bodied normies out of work!

But seriously why don't you go work in a shoe making factory if you care that much

    • Many people with intellectual disabilities (ID) get paid less than $5 per hour. I work with people with disabilities and when they choose to work at a factory that employs people with disabilities then the employer gets subsidies from the government to employ them, as most people with an ID can't compete productively with an abled bodied person. But the 2 guys I care for both work in a factory that only employ people with disabilities, but they get huge benefits also. They get to keep their full pension, they live in housing supplied by the government for free. They get chauffeur driven to and from work for free they get driven to outings restaurants to their families/friends all for free, their meals cooked, free health care, subsidized utility bills, 24 hour staffing at home and during the day they have a staff to resident ratio of 1 to 3 often just 1 to 2. Each intellectually disabled person in residential care usually has quite a large amount of savings and can afford to go on expensive holidays each year. Most intellectually disabled people in residential care cost the Australian taxpayer $200,000 per year. But if they don't go to work in a factory and stay at home or go to an adult training centre each day then the costs go up again as there needs to be extra staff employed to stay at home with the disabled person, or if they go to a day placement centre(adult training centre) then programs need to be created for the person with and I.D, cooking programs, community access visits, entertainment etc. People with an I.D going to work is good for everyone, it saves the Australian taxpayer money, the person with an I.D learns real life skills, and in most cases they enjoy going to work. In fact my 2 guys I care for have a lot stronger work ethic than me. They'll both want to go to work even if they get sick, I'll stay at home at the drop of a hat.

  • thx ordered one pair

  • +1

these guys sell here so often that RRP is just plain otherwise ripping people off.

  • Do you have a code for the children mini chestnut?

  • Do you offer sizing exchanges? I ordered a pair but not certain they'll be the right size. I heard sizing 1/2 size down for uggs because they 'stretch out' with wear.

    • +1

Believe it or not, information regarding that is available on their website and filed under "Returns and Exchanges".

      • Thanks, yes I actually skimmed over it but it wasnt particularly clear at first glance. I know people browsing tend to be lazy to read the fine print too so for anyone else wondering heres what it says in regards to size exchanges:

We offer one exchange of size with postage covered by Ugg Australia®. Any additional change of size requires the postage to be covered by the customer. We do not offer exchange for a cheaper item with a partial refund. The item must be exchanged for an item of the same price. Please contact us on our Contact Form and quote your order number to enquirer about an exchange of size. Please notify us of any discrepancies immediately upon arrival, to ensure the product is returned within a 14-day period from time of purchase, as shown on the order confirmation.
We do not exchange or provide credit for ‘change of mind’.

OP - purchased some of your boots from an earlier deal… had them just over a month and the sole is starting to separate from the boot.

Overall, happy with the quality of the boot itself, but a bit disappointing this is happening so quickly. Bad batch of glue?

  • I just got my Scuff Ian Uggs that I ordered from this OzB sale on 16/5, so only 3 days ago to Melbourne.
They feel like fluffy indoor Crocs without the heel strap. So they seem well made, they feel so cosy to wear on this cold Melbourne day.
As a young man in his mid 50's I'm going to look so cool scuffing down to the local shop wearing this hipster footwear.

This is a bit of a loaded statement I think… key word with footwear is well used.

While you own a tannery this sort of is a "we control 100% of the supply chain" statement as Uggs Australia aren't the only boot manufacturer here - Other Aussie companies such as TwoSheep are also using 100% Australian wool with local manufacturing.

Received my order today however the logo on the boots says “ Opal UGG” instead of “UGG Australia” .
Couldn’t find “ Opal “ on your page, are they made by UGG Australia?

    • Yes they are manufactured same company 🇦🇺

  • I also received mine. One woman's pair comes with different branding to your website. Kids pair comes with Opal UGG, different design, labels and packaging.

Not happy to buy 2 pairs from one company and receive 2 pairs from two entirely different companies with different branding from the website I purchased it from. What’s going on?

Guessing one tannery pumps out a bunch of brands that all claim made in Australia.

Opal Ugg is our company as well which is why there is a different label. All products are made with the same material and techniques.
