    Decent for the price, esp with the measuring cup and stirrer, but this sistema one www.amazon.com.au/Sistema-Microwave-Rice-Steamer-Red/dp/B00B… makes considerably better rice due to it's superior design and raised venting lid, and is often price-matched for sale at under $6.

    I've got both but only use the sistema one for rice these days. Decor one has been relegated to custards or as a poor man's mixing bowl.

    Also, thanks OP! Soup and oats bowl ordered. Fingers crossed it eliminates the frequent occurrence of overflowing porridge soiling my microwave…

    Haven't tried the Sistema one but the Decor makes great rice for my taste, especially if you give it a stir halfway through

  These sorts of containers are great at making bechamel sauce
