We've had this toaster for a couple of years and it's very ordinary, even at $57.

Inconsistent browning on first toast and second/third toast get more and more brown. We have it set to about 1.5.

Look cool sorta, but toasting is kmart $7.50 quality.

Anyone got a recommendation for a toaster thats around kmart $11 quality. Recently got a promotion.

  • Thanks! Been looking for a good deal on a toaster upgrade for ages.

No crumpet setting. A toaster is not a toaster without a crumpet setting

    • +1

      Yeah at 120 I expect a bagel/crumpet option

    • +1

For crumpets I set it to 11.

Seriously, no 11 on this one. I just do a double toast on my standard 1.5. Can't be assed trying 3 and remembering to put it back later.

  • This toaster looks really cheap in real life

  • Had this toaster, looks good but crap performance, inconsistent browning. Even at discount price it isn't worth it.

    • +2

I’ve had inconsistent browning, but it wasn’t due to my toaster.

      • Do you eat much fibre?

  • Delonghi is a crap brand. Their appliances are cheap tin and plastic designed for people who fall for nice looking things.

  • Any good toaster? That’s looks nice and works great too

    • toaster may be terrible but the problem with review sites is that the people most motivated to post are those who have had a crap experience. so not necessarily reliable info.

  • Not out of stock when i looked.
Didnt buy…dndw. Some one else can have mine :D
