  Solid price, but I would have a hard time finding my AirPods in a black case. It is a shame the other colours are not the same sale price.

  Putting a case on a case is stupid, my airpods gen 1 battery is nearly dead now and the case is still fine, why would anyone want to protect the case? Unless you want the airpods easier to find (but this black case is hardly doing any help). Just spend the money for the new one.

    With multiple AirPods in the same household, it can become a matter of trying to differentiate between them when they are laying around. If not for protection, then visually identifying them is also handy… not essential, but handy!
