      Very rare to see discounts on Apple GC since the departure of iTunes discounts. So I reckoned this is the best you can get other than crummy instore royalty points (i.e Flybuys, Woolies everyday rewards)

      The only way you could get a better discount on Apple gift cards is to:

      • Wait for Ultimate or TCN gift cards to be sold at a 15% discount at Coles.

      • Purchase Ultimate or TCN gift cards with JB Hi-Fi as a participating retailer.

      • Waltz into your local JB Hi-Fi store and purchase Apple or iTunes gift cards using Ultimate or TCN gift cards as a payment method.

      The 15% discount on Ultimate or TCN gift cards only happens around Black Friday, so you’ll be waiting a while.

      (Yes, one of the stores in my area was still selling iTunes gift cards yesterday.)

          That’s only if you want to purchase a JB Hi-Fi gift card using Ultimate or TCN gift card, but some staff don’t enforce that rule anyway.

          There’s nothing in the JB Hi-Fi POS system that will automatically block you from using an Ultimate or TCN gift card to purchase an Apple gift card (or other gift cards) at JB Hi-Fi.

      Apple tax invoice shows you having paid the whole price of the device with terms of "Credit Card".
      Doesn't say gift card anywhere on it.

      MacBook manufacturing is massively delayed at the moment due to the lockdowns in China so be prepared to wait. I ordered a MBP in March and it's been delayed 3 times, now saying July but I doubt it will arrive even then.

    I sometimes get lucky with a friend of a friend working for Apple buying stuff for me (employee discount is usually at 15%). The purchase is usually made using my CC.

    Can that person (Apple Employee) pay via GCs as well? Thinking of possibility of total 23.5% discount (15% + 10% on remaining 85% using these GCs)

          So buy discounted gc direct with apple is better then. If you need it get it. Life is too short and an apple product is always a good investment imo.
