  they ALWAYS have for me (over many years, on many surfaces). The only exception was on some old and damaged/flaking paint, but was to be expected given its condition

Possible to use hook refill strips instead? Refills are so much cheaper.

  Picture hanging strips are more like heavy duty Velcro type whereas the refills are just adhesive strips only

These are great for attaching things to walls that need to be removed. We used them extensively in the caravan and they all came off with no damage.

Sadly postage kills the deal. $8.50 to regional NSW
