    The one thing that pushed me away from Opal is the oddball chipset (Siflower SF19A28).

    Personally, I'd go for one of the models with native OpenWRT support (Creta / Slate / Beryl…)

    I purchased on late last year, It's a wee bit buggy and wouldn't recognise a basic Telstra USB 4G dongle which I don't really understand why. I trolled through the logs and nothing.

    But otherwise it is great bang for buck
