It's not a great deal as you are forced to spend the GC at HN. There's normally half price discounts for Oppo phones several months after release. This might be good if you have price protection.
I cannot believe an Oppo is charging at this price level, simply blown away by the price tag
$799? Sure I'll give it a fair bit of consideration, but no way for $1799.
Phones are just not worth that much even if there's millions forking out that much and more for whatever brand you fancy.
This is the launch price, so not a great deal.
You could get it for this price with a couple of decent accessories (apparently worth $600) and I think maybe a $400 HN GC pre-launch, so you think something better would be available now.

the prerealse offer was $200 H/N giftcard + OPPO's gift package. I reckon it was a better deal.
