Don't you know all those students in expensive private schools use either Alienware AW3423DW or LG C2?

I guess we went to very different schools.

      You got a wrong dad.

      • +3

Definitely. Gonna see if the ACCC can help me out with a refund here.

Are you sure your dad may want to refund you instead 😁

      • +1

dad? when you going to return with the milk you said you going to buy from the grocery store?

    • +1

I though kids nowadays were rocking $2k mac books and Ipads?

      • They're actually $3-$5k for macbooks these days…well, the pro models they use anyway

    • Private schools

  • Comes down to $1,377.13 if you use both student codes (20%+7%). At least it does for me.

    • Thanks didn't know it can stack

      • Neither did I. Did not work earlier for a discounted product.

        • The 20% off is only for RRP product and I didn't know can also stack 7% on RRP product.

In that case it is good if anybody wants ultrasharp monitors if still on RRP.

  • Worth it? Pretty low brightness compared to the AW3821DW

    • +4

      no

  • 60hz 🤢

Business monitor, ultrasharp should be super clear.

  • For gaming aw3821dw would be better, usually goes down to $1499, and historical low $1299.

  • Gonna use this with SamsungDEX yeet

  • Price is showing $1970 and discount codes applied to that. With both codes applied it comes down to $1465.68 actually.

    • Mine still show $1,851, 20%+7% off with Student Discount $1,377.13

  • Btw you don't need a student email address…

  • Btw long delivery times, mine showing 10 Aug and I ordered.20 May.

I am using this monitor for around 8 months spent around $ 1500, I use 2 machines for my work.. 100% loving it.. it is for work purpose so the specs like brightness, refresh rates all works out good enough.

  • What's the difference between Dell aw3821dw Vs u3821dw ?

    • +2

aw3821dw has a much better screen. However lacks a usb-c hub and pbp mode, so it’s arguably not as convenient for productivity. I’m also debating this option. Delivery times look dire for both though;(

  • 60hz yuck

  • delivery in aug yikes ._.

  • Works on others it seems tested with their top end 40" and works.

  • thanks, just ordered.. both stacked so came to ~1377 + another 10% amex cashback on dell!

  • Anybodies monitor entered production yet? Mine hasnt and I ordered 20 May.

  • Aug 12 ETA ship date. Sigh

Did anyone purchase this one and/or received it yet? How was it?
