Free Dungeons & Dragons Online Sourcebooks - Lost Mine of Phandelver & Acquisitions Incorporated (RRP US$25-$50) @ D&D Beyond

160

D&D Beyond are currently offering two modules for who have an account with them. Those who have seen an episode of Critical Role or another D&D stream will not be strangers to the service.

Lost Mine of Phandelver
(Which I previously put up here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/692277 as a bargain for the separate virtual table top system Roll20)

Acquisitions Incorporated
(A Penny Arcade inspired Source/Rulebook)

Normally modules/source books through the platform vary in cost. From what I've seen they range between $20-$50 USD but can be had cheaper through their sales, or bundles, or sales on bundles

Of course they are essentially online versions of physical books. I'm sure a low level Swashbuckling Rogue with the right skills/proficiencies could locate PDFs in uncharted waters.

However the advantage of remaining Lawful Good, creating a basic DnD Beyond account costing nothing but your time - means they can be automatically integrated with their character creation tool.

With a monthly tithe of silver & gold, you can upgrade your account to a higher tier for added boons including the ability to share these modules/resources with other players in addition to the usual cosmetic freebies/discounts…

D&D Beyond is officially part of the Wizards of the Coast family! To celebrate, we're offering two books to all registered D&D Beyond users!

Starting May 19, the beloved starter adventure Lost Mine of Phandelver will be automatically unlocked for all new and existing D&D Beyond users. Further, between May 19 and May 27 at 9 p.m. CT, you can redeem a copy of Acquisitions Incorporated, a campaign book that introduces new character options and the quirkiness of the 9-to-5 grind to Dungeons & Dragons.

See the link for specific info on how to create an account, and obtain these for yourself. With my next level I'll take up the feat "Post Formatting" but until then - ale awaits.

Happy Gaming.

Acq Inc is a seriously underrated book!

    • I haven't had a look at it myself, but I'll be sure to do so.

    Rogues do it from behind.

  • Cool, thanks for that. Doubt I'll ever use it but… maybe!
