Maybe when you upgrade to ps5. By that time it could be $5. And definitely better experience than on PS4.

It’s a no brainer for $15 on PS5. I was in the same boat as you played the PS4 version on PS5 when it first launched for like 30 minutes and couldn’t get passed how terrible it looked even by PS4 standards.
Got back into it when the next gen update launched and honestly it’s the best game I’ve played on PS5, it’s a banger!
Very very very good game and much improved and fixed up. Well worth playing and enjoying all the different endings.
However… It's still not quite the content and features they originally advertised and hyped up. Still tons of stuff that was promised is missing.
But as an overall game to play as-is, well worth it.
Next Gen update is pretty good, game still feels like it's missing something, but performance wise it's great. Only had one texture glitch and no slowdown

I've been playing it on the XBSX and have noticed minimal glitches, it actually feels like a very good game it is a shame it wasn't like this on release.
I was reading that the update populated the streets and before this they were largely empty with kids on the street being miniature versions of the adult models, compare that to what I see now and they have put in a lot of work to get redemption. New character models, improved vehicle handling, improved graphical textures etc.
It's worth it at this price for sure.

Never had any major crash apart from some minor bugs, finish the game on PS4 Pro. Great game.

That was day 1 edition lol but not sure if there's a difference.
Now that I've been able to try the game in a playable state I personally didn't find it to be all that good, that being said quite a few friends enjoyed it so I guess it just wasn't for me.

On a PS5, how do we upgrade an eligible PS4 game to PS5 version?
it'll detect your ps4 disc on the ps5, then should get an option to go to the ps store for the ps5 version where you can then download for free while the ps4 disc is inserted.
note, you should need the ps4 disc inserted to play the downloaded ps5 version

I was previously a vocal critic of the PS4 version, it would constantly crash on my PS4 Pro and even on my PS5…. Lots of bugs .
HOWEVER, fast forward to today…. And I can safely say after all the updates/bugfixes and especially if you have a PS5 (next gen update), it is a truly amazing game! Would highly recommend in its current state.
Picked up a copy for ps5. Can't go wrong for this sort of money. I would have much preferred the digital copy of the version - anyone have any theories as to why digital version is always more expensive? No distribution costs so I don't get it.
My guess is convenience tax.
I find it wierd as well since unlike physical, digital has no resale value.
Maybe Sony doesn't want to undercut the retailers who have decades of valuable relationship with.
Possibly….. But if they price it the same then it allows physical media to still compete as people like it for resale. In any case physical discs will be a thing of the past soon and it really is just kicking the can down the road I think.
Physical discs may soon enough be a thing of the past, but at the moment they are essential for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo brands to succeed. So maintaining those decades long relationships with the retailers that supported them for so long is probably important at the moment. Console games will disappear from retailers soon enough, just like PC games did, but not quite yet.
@AustriaBargain: Hopefully not. No one I know wanted or actually bought the disc free ps5. And why would you. More expensive games that you can't sell or lend easily.

Mine arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised to see it came in a cardboard slip case with stickers, game maps etc. Was only expecting the disc in the standard PS4 case.

Me too, mine arrived Sunday. It came in a waterproof packaging too which was nice because it is raining hard in Adelaide. I think this game is actually worth about $3.50, but I heard the reactive triggers were good so I thought I'd give it a go.

Played the PS4 version once on PS5 previously and traded it in.
