        there are quite a few freeware ones but majority of them are not that good (they're flyable)
        the most well known and best freeware for X plane is the LevelUp 737NG series.

    Xplane is much better if you want to simulate systems. When practising instrument flying, FS2020 needs a few more updates before Xplane becomes irrelevant.

  Just bought the A300 the other day and enjoying it. Do you think the A310 is much different from the A300?

    Cockpit is virtually the same, the A310 is slightly shorter than the A300 but has more range so it opens up some long haul route possibilities. You also get an ACJ and MRTT variant which the A300 does not come with if that matters to you. Apart from that they are pretty similar, so if you're happy with the A300 the A310 is probably not needed for you.
