    50 + 18W when using both.

Amazon seem to be price-matching Bing Lee, who also have it for $49.

Are GaN chargers now a must?

      2022 version of Eneloops.

Gan chargers. New craze for gadget addicts.

  • So, would this this with as a second spare charger for my laptop and to charge an iPhone 13mini?

    • spare charger for my laptop

Maybe, some powerful laptops might need more powerful chargers.

      • +1

Thanks! Looking at mine it says "65W USB-C Slim (3-pin)", so this one should be just enough.

Still new to the whole usb-c charging thing, all my previous laptops used their proprietary chargers.

          1. Maximum power from a single port is 60W, so if you use your laptop for intensive task, your battery will deplete

          2. If your laptop Is idle or powered off, charging with it is fine

    • If you have a TB4 laptop, get the 100w version

      • Belkin's 108W version is $81 at GG commercial.

      • Wouldn't that be dependent on the laptop's power requirements rather than Thunderbolt version?

Goodguys Commercial is selling at $44 if anyone is interested.

    • Correct me if im wrong but dont GGC only do delivery for orders?

      • +2

Depends on the stock in the store. It allows you to C&C when the stock is available.

Good price but I’d be inclined to wait for a sale on the Anker 65W. I feel like that’s a much higher quality charger and smaller in size. Has also been $45 recently.

    • +1

Have you got a link to the Anker one, even if not on sale? Just curious what it looks like, which model it is etc

        • +8

This is a single charger vs Belkin dual, so not really comparable

          • @Pidapipo: Sure but I would say most looking for a 65W charger are wanting one for a laptop, which I think the Anker is the better model for quality and size.

But if you want 2-in-1 then sure the Belkin is more convenient.

        • Thanks.

Ah, I thought it might've been a dual port charger from Anker. I've been waiting for them to release a dual USB-C charger with an AU plug for a while, and was thinking this might've been it.

    • Same. I'm an Anker man.

    • I went with bit expensive one (Anker 65W) recently when it was on sale for $59 few days back. Expensive but I feel this one is much better - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B098WQRGNQ/ref=ppx_yo_d…

The max looks like it's 45w on a single port for this?

        • -1

Correct but it has total 4 ports which I what I like, 45w is enough for me when single device is charging

    • But Belkin came with 2 years warranty and connected equipment warranty.

  • +2

I haven't had any issues with mine, but it's not particularly small

    • +28

      No need to boast.

    • +7

      How about the charger?

  • Seem like it is also a PD charger for laptop or Surface

    • I have been using mine to charge the Surface Pro 8 and Surface book.

    • Yep

  • I have had this charger for a few months now and can confirm it's great. Allows me to charge my iphone and macbook simultaneously at the proper high wattage.. I got it for a similar price by finding a deal like this and price matching at JB Hi Fi. Gan is great.

  • Haven't had a problem with Belkin or Anker chargers yet. Always feel their is a Belkin tax to pay so only ever buy on sale.

This one looks good can put on desk but have to wait for the price to come down.

$81 at GG Commercial. Still too expensive for a charger.

    • I can't work out if this thing has PPS?

And why isn't there a black one. Grr.

  • Would like one with PPS, this one doesn't seem to have it

  • Is it okay for Macbook Pro? I vaguely remember in another deal I was told MBP requires like 100+W

    • Which model of MBP have you got?

I've been using this charger for the last 5 months with my 14" M1 MBP, it's fantastic, hasn't skipped a beat. Most of the time it's drawing less than 20W anyway, so even a 30W charger can suffice for the M1 series.

  • Shows $68. Expired?

    • It's gone.

  • Nice, now I just need to buy a usb c cable and a laptop to make use of this

    • At least you have a starting point.

Much easier to find a laptop that suits your charger than the other way around.

  • OOS. got ozbargained

  • +1

    I have one. It's fine.

But for phones you'd want PPS which this doesn't have

  • Get JB Hi-Fi to price match it + $10 off using Perks ;). https://www.jbhifi.com.au/pages/perks

  • $44 on Good Guys Commercial for those interested and who have access.
