Plastic straws will be banned by 1st Nov. Though I think ebay sellers etc will just use the loophole that they are selling to people with medical needs/disabilities.
Beware, these guys have a history of flogging near to expiry straws - 18 month shelf life but the ones people ordered were either at expiry or had 4 months left. Amazon reviews echo a similar view.
Mine had 4 weeks to expiry when i ordered these ones previously.

According to the comments on their reviews the date is wrong.

Im pretty sure natural materials are more susceptible to expire than synthetic and the only natural food product that doesn’t expire that I’m aware of is honey.
Yeah. A piece of chicken breast is "natural", doesn't mean it's safe for years.
