[WA] Smashed Burger $8 (Normally $12) @ wildgreens co. (Perth CBD)

170

Hey guys,

I run a salad bar called wildgreens co. and we decided to dabble in burgers for our winter menu. They've become quite popular so we have decided to rebrand the store as "Hay St Kitchen" which will allow the two concepts to run side-by-side.

We will run the burgers under the name of smash'd burgers

Come show us some love and grab our smashed beef burger for lunch for $8!

Let my staff know you've seen it online to access the deal.
We use some of WA's best Gusface mince and have the most delicious soft buns.

Open 10-3pm and located on Hay St, near Royal Perth Hospital
Store signs still show wildgreens but will changed very soon

Much love xoxo

  • That's a great price, thanks for posting! As a burger lover, I'd just like to query what you mean by "premium" mince? If you're using what supermarkets sell as "premium" mince, that means it's a lean, low fat mince, which is the last thing you'd want to use for burgers as it makes for a dry patty. I doubt that you're able to use Gusface mince (or similar) for that price though?

    • it is gusface indeed. you're right — I should stop using that term — I mean to say premium burger mince but should probably just omit that descriptor.

enjoy the low prices while we're getting our numbers up :D hope to see you in store soon!

      • Sounds great, you just might! Thanks!

  • Hey I'm glad to see another business doing smash burgers.
Not really sure why they didn't take off here as they are the best burger IMO.
Have a look at George motz if you need some additional burger ideas.
I'm a big fan of the Smashed burger with ribbon thin onion on one side.
You get the crispy lacy burger on one side and if you have enough fat some fried crispy onion on the other side.
cheese skirt or a frico wouldn't hurt either.
    Happy Smashing!
