      Going by your super logic, there's no such thing as a genuine iPhone either because Apple get Foxxcon to manufacture the phone who also pump out gazillion other electronic devices for a gazillion other companies.

      I'm sure you're right about Samsung not making these themselves, but I query your statement that they haven't had them made specially for them. I can't imagine the skivvied design types at Apple get their hands dirty making their USB cables either. No doubt they would also leave it to a giant Chinese factory to pump out their genuine cables by the millions, but they would likely issue their own instructions, requirements and standards before they market them as 'Genuine Apple' and sell them for $25 a pop on their website.

    I have been searching for genuine cables for a long time now because when i use the generic cables to connect to kies and try to upgrade firmware it always gives me an error. If these are really genuine then thanks as I have ordered 5. Have alot of samsung devices.

    Looks like the same connector as my genuine Samsung charger… which you have to jiggle to make it work. The $1 cables I bought off ebay however are still going strong.

    Bit short @ 1 meter.

    Ive used the generics and never had an issue. I usually get them for around $1
    I now though just use a usb charging cradle for my GS2 so much easier and works great

    Arrived today, looked a little short so measured, only 85cm, not the 1M as advertised. Quality looks very good though. Anyone else get these shorter cables or are theirs 1M?

      Yeh both of mine are approx. 85cm long aswell.

      Also 1 of my cables were missing the samsung sticker.

      I think these arent genuine

    Think its fake. Got 2 and both charge, but can't transfer data, just freezes when entering USB mode on a S2. Had the same problem with a cheapo "genuine" one from Ebay. Only the original phone cable and a Korean $10 expensive cable worked for the data part
