Not worth building your own any more.

Not true, this is right on the borderline for that, nothing that's particularly cheap compared to the kind of sales prices you can expect. EOFY coming through soon, so if anything this is just forecasting that price drops are on their way.

    • BYO nowadays is more for PC DIY enthusiast. Like I’m still happy to pick myself the parts and build it.

      • Yep - I still build my own cause it's strangely enjoyable setting it up properly and the way I want it.
Most people would prefer one made for them and by a big brand.

This is a pretty impressive deal, not sure whether ADATA RAM and SSD are good though. Your move, Techfast.

    • Just OK. I replaced mine in build fr 2yrs back.

      • Because they failed or other reasons?

    • Nothing wrong with Adata ram or SSD's, i am using both currently. The pc shop i used to work for primarily sold adata ram and drives, failure rate was very low.

      • Cool. Thanks.

  • Can we pick up?

    • Hi Cycleri3,

Yes, you can choose in-store pick up at the check-out page. Our HQ locate at Mt Waveley.

Interesting spec. wouldve gone for the regular ryzen 5600 and the stock cooler. 120mm AIOs are pretty crap and should only be used in space constrained environments, which their chosen case is not.

much better motherboard than the basic bitch crap that system integrators normally put in, too. impressive!

Indeed, 5600x with a 120 AIO is a weird combo. I will personally go with a good air cooler that provides similar performance but less noise. Some may argue AIO is better looking but personally I don’t know how a 120 AIO is good looking.

      • the other reason why this specific AIO is a crap choice is because it uses 12v RGB, while the front fans use 5v ARGB, so they won't sync, and if you do have a motherboard that lets them sync (eg Gigabyte), you'll be limited to single colour RGB on the front, which is a wasted opportunity.

  • Great price. If I hadn't of built a few months ago i'd be awfully tempted by this.. and I suspect EOFY prices will continue to be cheaper still.

    CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core AM4 3.70 GHz Unlocked CPU Processor + Wraith Stealth
Cooler - Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120L V2 RGB AIO Cooler ?????????????????????

If you have the Wraith, no point for the 120 AIO then. Should leave that out and charge less. Does the Wraith just come in a box on the side? Maybe make the AIO a optional upgrade???

Thank you for listing the parts you will use in the prebuilt, not a vague description of parts.

    • Hi Auspcbuilda,

The 120mm AIO is actually a free upgrade, but we didn't mention that when doing the listing.

  • I ordered the Christmas01 pc from the previous deal 2 days ago - upgraded the motherboard and PSU and it was ready for pickup the next day. I couldnt find a better deal. I'm sitting here using it now.

  • paid for 2900 laptop with rtx 3070 + intel 10th gen a year ago xD

  • I want to upgrade but might hold off till the 4xxx series is out. Only 4 months away. Unless it's Armageddon with nuclear war it should be good to get a new pc 😊

  • It's amusing that only a few months ago 3070s were going OOS almost instantly for $2k, now an entire 3080 system costs less.

  • Any chance of an upgrade all the way to 64GB??

Power supply upgrade would be nice too.

Are the AIO and power supply sufficient for upgraded 5800X CPU and the 3080?

This is very close to a rig I would be happy to buy.

    • Hi Syousef,

If you can send us your upgrade requests, email & name through private chat, I can ask the sales team to prepare a quote for you :)
