    Any feedback from real users?

    • +1

Real user here, bought an identical one (except in black) back in April for $199 ex delivery.

Overall will give it a 9/10. Super supportive and comfortable and has the ability to recline. Looks good too. At this price I would say go for it.

If you are a new user, remember to sign up to MyDeal to get an extra $10 off.

      • Is the arm removable?

        • yes, comes not assembled, 3 bolts ea arm

    • +1

I have this exact chair. Used heavily for over year WFH. The lock to keep the back rest in position already broke and will snap out making you fall backwards if you put too much weight on it. 170cm 84kg. Now used as a clothes hanger

  • How to get new user coupon ?

    • In your email (new accounts only). I got the coupon email before the account verificiation email.
*Check the Promotions tab in gmail.

      • do we not get shopback cashback if we use a coupon

        • New account email coupon with web browser? Yes, it works, I can see it in my Shopback account tracking.
First time purchase coupon with MyDeal app? I don't use the app so don't know how Shopback would work in this case.

          • @jaydee4: I used the new account coupon so will be a bonus if we get 10% cashback on top!

            • @dorikin: Up to 10%. It's showing $12.64 (pending) in my account after using the $10 coupon. Check your email later, the one registered with your Shopback account.

          • +1

@jaydee4: Just remember tracking doesn't mean diddly squat. Its when they approve or decline it that's important, which is usually a couple of months down the track..

  • For only $20 overall more than this chair…. Consider this one for $179, however $10 cheaper postage (eg Brisbane around $29.71) but with benefit of Upholstered seat: https://www.mydeal.com.au/ergoduke-ultra-flex-ergonomic-comm…

    • I prefer mesh for butt sweat

    • You've tested both and feel they do a better job with the padded seat?

      • Padded works best for me. Much more comfortable especially when sitting on it 10 hours per day.

        • +1

In an instance of otherwise equal design, I'd probably agree, but I was asking more specifically for the two ErgoDuke choices.

  • Oh no. Bought it already? Mesh seat is not good? Got coupon code by calling helpline.

    • -1

I would always prefer mesh seat base as it's more breathable. Mesh or upholstered is just a matter of preference

      • Preference for aerating, sure, but the cushioning of each approach through the materials used is always a consideration.

If the mesh is too firm, or too malleable, the cushion may be preferred but conversely the cushion could be too firm/thin or compress too easily, then later warp and sag too quickly.

  • How will this compare to Ikea Markus?

    • +1

Markus doesn't have enough underseat cushion, I'd try this one instead.

    • Markus is overrated I think.

  • Thx bought

  • Torn between this and the aeron

    • +3

Thats a $1700 difference if it helps to make a decision.

    • +8

      Torn between Yaris and Aventador

    • At the price the Aeron goes for now, not worth it… it's doubled in price through covid.

Look into the Steelcase Leap v2 and the Steelcase Amia (if it's sold here yet).

  • Is it good for 6.1 feet?

    • +3

I wouldn’t recommend dropping it from that height

      • the only thing you could make out from the above statement is this! ahh

    • Reviews say better for people under 6"

They say the headrest doesn't sit right for taller frames.

  • Looks similar to Herman Miller Mirra. Good price. How does it compare?

  • my friend has this exact model in china, the exact exact same one, cost him 380AUD (1825 rmb) with shipping. damn

    • They'll go on sale every so often for about the same here.

  • The back does not independently tilt, does it?

    • +1

It does not tilt, but you can "lean back" and it will flex. It returns to the default upright position upon reducing the pressure.

  • thanks OP, bought

  • +1

I have one from the previous deal.

Overall for the money you can't go wrong. Super comfy super well built.

One "issue" (although it's not that much of an issue) is the headrest. I'm 175cm and the head rest is a bit too low. It nestles into the top of my neck rather than the head. But I can deal with it.

I paid $250 Inc delivery last time.

    • I'm 182 and yeah the 'headrest' is like at the base of my neck at max height. I need to slide forward in th seat and then lean back if I want to rest my head.

  • Thanks bought one

  • Now out of stock

  • OOS stock already whattt :(

  • Received mine today, pretty fast shipping

    • got mine today too, sitting on it atm, i have a very very similar one that started squeaking a bit, tried to lube everything i could reach but no luck. hope this one hold up

      • Do you know what the big round knob on the bottom of the seat does?

        • +1

Got mine today, happy with it so far. The knob is to adjust the tilt tension.

          • @tinle88: Ahh yep thanks that’s it

Yeh I’m liking it so far, I’ve left the armrests off as I don’t think I’ll be using them.
And It’s going to take a while to get use to the colour scheme but overall pretty good
