As an owner read this first..

OK speakers but if you are trying to synch your rgb with other Logitech hardware these are a pain. If you are happy with audio drops every 30mins or so jump on them. I purchased these at least 3 years ago for 139 and still have regrets..

wow, thanks for the link, I was about to pull the trigger. need to keep looking.. They did look cool

They look great but only heard bad things about the quality. I have all G peripherals but ended up getting edifiers.

    • I actually just wanted a 2.1 set with a decent sound, for a reasonable price. Don't really care about RGB.
Are there better alternatives (sound-wise) for this price range (with subwoofer)?
      Thanks

      • Have a look at the Creative T60, I'm very happy with mine an found that sub is not needed. If you really going for sound, you best to invest in set of headphones. The T60 uses 3.5mm / Bluetooth / USB-C or USB-C connection. They are currently in special for $99 at JBHifi https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/creative-t60-desktop-spea…

Logitech Z623. No lights, no Bluetooth, just great sound (THX certified). Noticeably better sound quality over the G560 which is lacking in clarity from its muddy speakers which really let down an otherwise nice looking system.. even with its weird buttons and lack of physical EQ controls.

I can vouch for Z623, great sound. It used to sell for $69-99. Now I can't find a single listing below $180-$200!!

        • So the best option in 2022 is a product released in 2010? =/

I just posted this as a friend has the G560 and is very happy with it, and it's a decent price drop.

          Cheers

      • Why not look at good 2.0 systems that will sound infinitely better?

I'm surprised Gamers don't just cut out the middleman and hotglue some LED strips to their eyelids. It'd be cheaper and likely less painful.

Get the proper soundbar or 7.1 wireless headphones.
Logitech G series products are no longer as qaulity as before. My G910 keyboard has ghost keys issue, my G502 wireless USB dongles/receiver failed with in a month, The Logitech support told me they can't help, no stock.

    • Basic stereo speakers will smash any soundbar, and yes headphones will be nice to use side by side with speakers.

If you want surround may be Logitech Z607 for $189

  • I still can't find a decent 5.1 solution for gaming sound other than my old Logitech z906 setup… I wish there was something else easy to setup for optical output (and a decent 5.1 optical output option without hacking realtek drivers…)

    • You're probably better off with headphones if you're looking for surround. You can get a better sound for cheaper with a decent set of cans.

Got young kids I need to be able to hear… headphones are an issue with that, and also never as comfortable.

I have used these for a while. Sound quality is decent for the price. Lightsync works great most of the time but will occasionally bug out. It's rare but occasionally a light just won't turn on and it can be a pain to fix. Sometimes a computer restart fixes it, sometimes a power cycle, other times I have to flash the firmware. But it is rare that it happens.

Firmware is a bit tricky too. The latest firmware works best for lightsync, but it doesn't sound as good. Less bass. A few firmware's back is great for audio quality but has those occasional lightsync issues.

Had 2 of these. Can confirm the latest firmware fixed some issues but sound quality dropped. Not worth it at this price. Took ages to sell one off too even at a cheap price. Demand just isn't there for it. Using Edifier and much better

  • I bought one on the last week's click frenzy sale, with a further 10% off. The cables are bulky and the sound quality is quite normal. The light is amazing. I don't recommend it.

What did you pay? Cheaper than this deal?

      • 10% cheaper

This is a great price, cheapest I have been seeing over the past free weeks was $268 preorder at Amazon.
