Hotel Recommendations for Bali? Mid-Range

I have a bunch of friends I'm travelling to Bali with, they're happy to share and they really want to stay at the Indigo.

Even sharing, it comes out to like $125 a night or so.

For some reason they want to be on the beach, but I found that if you're even 50m away from the beach hotel prices are half the price.

I'm staying longer than all my friends, so I don't want to switch hotels so I figured I would just get my own room as close as possible within Seminyak.

I'm happy to spend up to $125 a night depending on the hotel.

There's just so many hotels available, it's really confusing.

Previously, I've stayed in $40 a night room 4star and the hotel was amazing but It had a really crappy pool.

I also noticed if you stay in Kuta, you can get a junior suite for like $120 a night!

I know there would be fellow Oz bargain is, who would spend a lot of time researching and trying to get the best bang for buck.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Yeah, stay at the hotel with the rest of your friends.

Couldn't think of anything worse than going on a holiday with mates and then having to go off to a different hotel every night because you wanted to save a few bucks.

I'd just stay with friends too. Given the pandemic and not being able to travel the last couple years, I could give a crap about a few hundred bux here and there. Just stay with your friends and enjoy yourself, Indigo looks fantastic too.

Just do the switch when everyone else leaves

Stay with friends while they're there, stay where you want when they're gone.

  • I just don't want to share a room with anybody, and a room by yourself is like $250 a night which is madness for Bali

  • Convince your friends to do a Luxury Escapes deal? They have plenty of beachfront accomm.

We're going back to Bali in November and we're staying at the Amnaya Kuta. We've stayed previously and loved it but it's not beachfront (though it's only like 5 mins walk away through a shopping centre lol)
