was lucky to snag one of these during the $139 deal. highly recommend.

  • These are basically bi-amped P17s which are impressive speakers on their own - they must sound great.

  • Im impressed that "100% MDF" is being used as a feature to sell these.

      Best material for speakers.

    • How I feel when I see ABS plastic as a point of difference.

  • This or a cheapy soundbar?

    • For the price point, I haven’t felt the urge to upgrade due to sound quality at all.

From my very little use of cheap soundbars, I would think you’d be paying much more to match the audio quality. Of course it also depends how much you care about the footprint of your speakers too.

Paid $200 for a set of these about a year ago and love them, they sound absolutely fantastic.

  • Radioparts were advertising the same price too.

  • So I can connect it to pc via Bluetooth, which means there will be only one cable tangling (the power cord)?

I am considering replacing my Bose soundlink iii with something more reliable.

    • Using Bluetooth there may be a delay that would be annoying for video or games, since the audio will be out of sync. Not a problem if you plan to use it for music.

Thanks. Been waiting for something like this.

I had some trouble finding the deal at the $170 mark. It always came up at $199. Got there in the end.

  • Ah to wait for a cheaper price or not, but nothing cheaper since last year. Was the same a month ago

  • Had this since the beginning of the year. Took a day to wear the speakers in, and after that they sounded awesome.

Searching for a subwoofer to pair with it, if you have any recommendations.

What i dont like about this is that there is no auto-power off. Previous soundbar had this and it worked very well.

There are powerboards that auto-shutoff every other outlet after your PC is turned off (there's a designated master outlet). Common, bunnings/jaycar common.

      • Thanks for the recommendation! I had no idea. I appreciate it.

        • Yeah,. Also ones that have a remote control, and you can mount it by the door. Hit "all off" on your way out. Etc
