    Well, silicone tips is the first immediate difference. These won't form a reliable, airtight seal inside your ear like ones with the silicone tips would. You can also replace the silicone tips of the QCY for some foam tips for even better seal and external sound attenuation

    They are different styles of ear buds from different brands, so will be hard to compare unless someone happens to own both.

  Any idea vs Taotronics Soundliberty 97?

  Scarbir doesn't review those, I have a pair and they're fine, with the QCC3026 chip for Aptx (although they still lag on some video formats). Would the T13's be a 'step up'? They were what I was originally looking at but they went up to $32.99 before I pulled the trigger last time and my old ones died.

  Anyone know when the QCY T18 Melobuds will be released in Australia, as they seem to be both Aptx and multiple pairing capable?

    I don't know if "better", but I have the T17 and am happy with them. Apart from that annoying thing where they detect a long-press on the touchpad when I adjust them in my ear.
