      For what?
      If you want 4k gaming, the RAM and CPU are way over speed, average at best 3080.
      Could build a rig with close fps for close to 2k

    AMD 7950x and Nvidia 4080 is just around Conner. May as well watch for deal on rest of the system (DDR5 ram, 1000w PSU) during EOFY sales, and grab the CPU and GPU when available. Might cost $500 more compared to 12900k and 3080, but should be much much better performance, if the leaks are true, and won't be outdated for another two years.

      U shouldn't use the exact parts to calculate price comparison, there are plenty deals on to make a cheaper deal with similar parts.

      For example, no one would pay $300 for a mid tier EVGA 850w power supply. U can get a decent one for $130.

      And why pair this PC with a Gen 3 ssd? This clear trying to clear stock.

      Yep… no FHR tis. Infact if you're after mining performance 3080 LHR is a better option as the LHR limit on those has been cracked while the tis haven't been yet AFAIK.

        Only LHR v3 isn't fully unlocked (but 90% unlocked) which is on the RTX 3050 and RTX 3080 12GB. Both the RTX 3080 10GB and RTX 3080 Ti have 100% LHR unlock.

        However, because the RTX 3080 12GB has a higher memory bandwidth than the RTX 3080 10GB, it still mines slightly faster, despite being only 90% unlocked.

    Hey guys, I'm looking to grab this system but wanted to follow up on the comments regarding cooling. Is it really something to worry about? Do I need to add a X73 instead of the X63? I don't game very often but when I do I'm running my Racing Sim and similar spec games like AC Odyssey, Star Wars etc.

    I'm pairing the system with:
    Upgraded 3080Ti
    Extra 2TB HDD
    Hopefully a TD500 case for better cooling (If allowed)

    Please advise :)

        Unfortunately the upgrades were not allowed even if paying the difference, a shame really. I would have loved the snazzier cooler case. I understand you guys need to clear dead stock but at least give people the option to upgrade paying the difference rather than making them pay full retail + shipping on top of standard equipment.

        Anyway if I need to upgrade cooling and case further down the line I will but in the meantime I have placed my order with the standard case and only 3080ti upgrade.

        Looking forward to receiving my new rig next week!
