        I just took delivery, it says 12P on the box and the bag, so I guess they're right… Won't know until we set it up for the first time.

        What I do know, is it is very, very heavy.

      Depends on what you're looking to do with it. Seems like it's a single layer tent which is great during warm/dry weather but less then ideal if there is a lot of moisture in the air. It'll probably withstand light summer rain but I don't believe it'll survive a late autumn/winter night as condensation will seep through.

        I can see its dual layered. One layer inside the popup mechanism and the second that goes over the whole thing.

    I picked one up today….seems quite well built but being a "pop up" tent it's bloody huge at 1.2m long and weighs a crap load at 35kg

    Just pulled the trigger on this one - paid $39.99 for delivery because no stock close by. Fingers crossed comes out good quality and well built. I have Dune 4WD sleeping bags and I must say they are good quality. Been using the Aldi 4P tent for 3 years now. This one has a parking / cinema space incomparison to my needs. Will also come in handy if I get evicted due to interest rate hikes… 😬

        Hahaha 🙂. Hopefully that would be the case but remember this is a one-off spent unlike rent/mortgage. Affording one-off is not a big deal.

    For those of you that picked up one of these congratulations on your purchase. I've spent a couple of nights camping with this tent now and I am seriously impressed with it. The floor is heavy duty and coated to ensure it remains waterproof, the fly fully seam sealed and fits really well, and putting up for 2 people very straight forward even for our first attempt.

    The tent is really well designed, zips good quality and handy pockets everywhere for storage. I'm really impressed!

    I can see why it's so heavy as the tent and fly materials are more heavy-duty than others.

    Honestly, it really is an absolute bargain!
