Just bought a Hisense 65 inch that arrived with dead pixels. Won't be buying that brand again so I'll stick with Sony, Samsung or LG.

Every pixel is self illuminated and can turn itself off so you get perfect blacks, zero colour shift and since you asked, the response time is significantly better too.

I hate to be that person, but no, OLED is not always better, if you are deciding to place the TV in a bright sunny room and use it more in the day time than night, then LCD is better.
There are a few downsides to OLED, risk of burn in particularly when you max brightness, they also use more energy compared to similar LCD/LED models. Also OLED have poor gray accuracy, please google OLED black crush for eg what im talking about.
not even a competition. This model doesn't even have FALD (full array local dimming) that somewhat gets a LED TV's black closer to OLED, even then OLED always win.
The LG c1 is better. I have seen both instore. The colours are richer and the deepest black. Only comparable is the Samsung Neo QLED range but they cost more than LG OLED
in 2022….. no one that cares about viewing experience should be buying a LED that doesn't even have Full Array Local Dimming….
The Hisense with dead pixels I bought seemed to light up quarters of eighths of the whole screen when I dragged my mouse across the black movie screen
thats the result of either having no FALD or low local dimming zones.
Bought TCL 65'' P735 over the weekend from JB Hifi. $1100 less $60 promotion from TCL.
Intention was to buy Sony being a Google TV same as TCL, but price difference and warranty terms tilted towards TCL :)
