    You can drill a hole to the side of it as a refill hole and just put a small rubber grommet in there. Agreed on the proprietary refill cap…worse than Apple products!.

  The way our family has been trained to wash their hands for the past two miserable years, 400 times means it will last less than a month. Now, where can one buy the replacement soap? I would assume that we can’t just put any soapy material into it? I can’t seem to find this store selling replacement soap.

    Just get any liquid soap designed for manually pumped foam soap dispensers. I think others have suggested a specific ratio of non foaming liquid soap to water achieve the same thing.

  Great units once you get past the apparent nightmare of refilling…lots of vids online which show how to do it easily. Love the handsfree non workout - no muscle tone in my hand from no workout makes it luverly and supple to the touch.

  A tip for refiling, once you finally manage to pry the cap off for the first time - get a sharp utility knife and cut off 3 of the 4 clips, so next time it's a lot easier.

  personal experience…

  had one. 12 months in the plastic end where it connects to the bottle started to crack as it was a screw-in mechanism. i was careful not overly tighten it. stopped working around 13 months in.

  ended up getting one of these instead. plastic as well but it turns and locks into place. ejects more foam compared to my old one.
