I had an order for the 100W version, but I don’t think they’re messed up making any, and my order got cancelled 😢

    • I had ordered one through Banggood a while ago and they said I could either cancel or wait a few months so I cancelled it. I'd rather the 100w one but this 65w will do I guess, since it doesn't look like the 100w will be in stock for a while ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      • Yeah same, that one looked good as it had extra power points on it.

EDIT: so this one does too, can’t confirm as some pictures don’t show it.

Yeah, some Baseus GaN chargers don't but because its the pro model it has the extra plug.

I have this charger and can vouch it's a beast good charger.

  • +5

Take note it doesn't use the figure 8 cable and the cable is not removable from the charger

    • Ah, so stuck with a UK lead. Thanks for the tip

      • That and if you use one of these multi chargers for travelling, you can't change the cable to match the local country's electrical socket.

      • It is CN plug I think but they also call it AU, are they actually the same?

        • +1

          are they actually the same?

As Wafflel notes below, Aus mandates insulated pins the Chinese version doesn't have

          • @0jay: And the CN one is “upside down” compared to ours.

        • and the pin thickness and the earth pin length are different

  • sorry, just to confirm. if you are using JUST the ONE usb c port, that will output the full 65w?

    • YES. There is an image on the ebay page which shows all combinations and the max output.

  • +1

This seems to use the Chinese style plug. No insulated pins as per Australian safety standards.

Can anyone who has one confirm this?

    • +1

You don't need to confirm this. You can see the cable exits the top side, which only occurs on chinese products. Literally every Baseus 3 prong is the CN adapter.

Also noticed the description states CN/AU plug. So my question is a bit silly.

Still. Anyone buying these should be fully aware that they are not compliant with AU safety standards.

  • No PPS?

Bit of a major fail there

    • Samsung charges at Super fast 2.0

      • Yeh not about charge speed so much as impact on the battery.

Fact it's GaN 3 (ie latest technology) but they cheap out on PPS is just whack

        • Isn't PPS defined by each brand? I could be wrong.

          • @abs898: PPS is part of the PD 3.0 standard

    • Is it good or bad?

Mine died a few days in while charging a Macbook pro.

  • I used this desktop charger to charge my new 12th gen gaming rig (3070 Ti) but when I took it camping it still didn't start up.
Maybe my desktop can't be charged or the charger was faulty…

    • to charge my new 12th gen gaming rig (3070 Ti) but when I took it camping it still didn't start up.

You didn't check if it is actually charging when you first use it?
