Mod Note on Votes for this Post

Below are the links and prices as speculated by OP. All of them were wrong and subsequently removed by OP. These are now restored to help explain the high vote count on this post. The votes are not indicative of the values of the offers and voters should consider retracting your positive votes.

All prices will be updated at 10am on 3/6.

Some deals (all prices are after the eBay Plus 22% discount, up to a max discount of $300 per transaction):

BG’s Notes:

  • The anonymous OP has clarified with me that eBay is running two of the 20% (22% with eBay Plus) deals this month - as also hinted by dealbot in the comments
  • Most of the big sellers like sydneytec and sydneymobiles, as well as other sellers that participated in the recent eBay Weekend promo, will be in the other promo and the reps from both store reps have given wrong confirmation to the anonymous OP
  • Feel free to revoke your positive votes on this deal as stated by the mods

Max discount is $300, matebook X discount is not as much.

    • +4

I was lucky last week. Purchased the matebook x pro @$1703 from Microsofte ebay store.

      $1703 = $1999 (nominal price) - $300 (20% ebay off up to $300) + $4 (express delivery).
Now they jacked up the price to $2999!

You could buy a 2005 Subaru Liberty with your cashback

        • I have one.

Why on ozbargain if you could affort that headphone XD

          • +1

@superforever: After buying those headphones, you'd need to be on OzB to afford anything else!

      • +2

Waiting until they go under $100

        • +7

You could just as easily say the same about "Gaming Speakers" or a $170 wireless gaming mouse. I'm sure you have your own justifications for those purchases.

      • headphones.. wouldn't buy just one

Plenty of better ways to spend $600 though before buying Apple and beats. I'd recommend audio brands for a start (beyerdynanics dt1990 pro etc)

Some people could write the same thing about $2000+ TVs like this:
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/702971
Especially if they dont care much for watching TV.

But not everyone writes ignorant comments.

nice deal for EOFY, our shop should be invited too. Hope to make some good deals without jacking up the price.

Rep from sydneymobiles confirmed they’re participating on tomorrow’s eBay deal

        • They haven’t got any Mini 3 Pros listed. I bought one off them last week and the listing was nuked an hour later.

          • @DSOTM: Did it get an order confirmation or did they cancel it?

            • @ATangk: Mrs DSOTM just picked it up from the post office a few minutes ago. I think they let five orders through before pulling it.

      • Just got confirmation that sydneytec is participating too

      • +7

        It really does pay…

It pays eBay $50 per year

      • Not serious no, lol. I've got a couple of weeks left and won't be re-subbing either.

  • +4

I'm guessing 80% of what we want to buy won't be discounted.

    • +1

Thats optimistic. Eligible items normally means a bunch of crap they're trying to get rid of and its cheaper elsewhere.

    • andddd it doesn't work on the monitor mount I wanted to buy.

  • Let the price hiking begin!

  • +2

    Don't wrap it, PriceJack it!

  • No real discount with the recent 20% plus deal, hope this one have some real one.

  • +3

The only real Feebay deals are the ones paid for by BNPL companies spending themselves into insolvency. This is going to be jacked so hard the discounts will be more like 5%.

  • Come on 4TB SSDs!!!

      Hope you clean it afterward

      • Hahaha

eBay sales, and eBay are both a bit of a joke. I'm almost tempted to start negging them.

This looks like a extra percentage off clearance items.

I always compare prices to Amazon, buying directly and other marketplaces and the discounts, even with 22% off, aren't that great.

With all the eligible items sales, higher base prices, and alleged price increases it's a nightmare.

The site is an absolute nightmare with multi item listings, negative feedback for sellers removed.

As soon as I have to pay full price for eBay plus, I'm cancelling it.

    • My experience has been different.

Most times I've seen Amazon deals here I can beat them on eBay plus get free shipping.

      • I'm not sure why you're downvoted here. It's definitely the case that it is possible. For me, the frequency of best price from eBay has massively dropped off over the past few years.

I feel I am getting value from the eBay plus subscription at the discounted price.

        • Same. Definitely wouldn't pay the full fee but eBay Plus has come in handy a lot as I shop around.

Recent example would be a Switch Controller. Missed on the $75 deal on Amazon posted here but was able to get it for $70 with a running discount on eBay Plus at the same time. It also arrived in under 48 hours.

Also … Downvotes sustain me Amazon fan bois! Do your worst!

    Is there a search link?

  • Can I please humbly ask this forum would a T7 Samsung be a good alternative to my normal HDD (Seagate Extension) for daily read/write? Will it last longer or shorter than HDD? Data retention/durability etc.

I am seriously considering using a T7 for my daily work and multimedia. In other words, the main grunt will go to this T7. I am using Windows PC.

    Honest question.

    • As an internal drive or portable?

      • As a portable. Just like my current Seagate Extension HDD at the moment. It sits outside my PC.

Seagate is bulky and this is small and cute and it's SSD. That's why I am thinking of using this T7 as an alternative daily R/W SSD for the next say 5-10 years.

Would it be a good substitute? Or stick to HDD due to its armoury feature?

        • I think it's worth it just for the speed. SSD's tend to be a bit harder to recover data but you should have backups regardless.

  • Just wondering, any input from the monitor people, are there any other monitors in the sale that might be well priced?
My main concern is brightness and contrast ratio as opposed to response time.

    • If it's for work, S2721QS remains my favourite. It's bright and clear as day.

      • Actually S2721QS is exactly what I use right now. I find it very dull and it really came into stark contrast when I recently got my new Legion 7. I was planning to use the monitor with it, but it just looks so flat compared to the Legion's absolutely stunning screen.

        • +1

That's why I said if it's for work, that monitor is great. Legion 7 is a gaming laptop right? So I wouldn't think S2721QS is best for that.

Once upon a time, I was looking at this

          https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-32-4k-uhd-gaming-monito…

And it really tempted me at mid $800s but I will await for more review on this.

          • @burningrage: Yep, good point. Thanks for your response :)
Yes, wouldn't mind seeing a new deal on that Dell.
Literally the only two games I play are Civ and MS flight sim so I don't need high refresh rates, but I do want them to just pop off the screen and draw me in.

  • PLUS20E doesn't work for me, looks like members only?

    • I’ve just tested both PLUS20E and PLUS22E and it still works
Is the item you’re looking for included from the URL linked to this deal post?
