Games Sale on Catch of The Day - Dance Central 2 $30

28

Certainly some of the cheapest prices I've seen from Australian retailers, but compared to OS there's nothing too exciting but worth a note for those who want that elusive EB trade-inable bargain.

A few examples

BF3 Limited Edition (360) = $50. Compared to $108 at EB and $89 at JB.
Batman Arkham City PS3 & 360 = $50. Compared to $59 at JB Hifi and $99 at EB.
Dance Central 2 360 = $30. Compared to $65 at JB and $68 at EB.

$10 shipping cap.

I'd assume this is Australian stock but don't hold me to it :)

id rather waste my time watching synthetic grass grow than go onto the struggling COTD servers

    • that's only a problem during their bait and switch sales

certainly not a catch for me. ;-)

no bargain im afraid.. prices are still high and since when did halo combat evolved come out with a RRP of $70?
    COTD is a poor retailer

      $68 at EB…

I All the COTD games can be found cheaper if you are willing to import (probably take the same amount of time to arrive)

      • Which is why I pointed out IN AUSTRALIA. Yes they are cheaper importing but there are kids out there who like to lose money by trading into EB games and they need AU stock to do that.

    • Compare what I compared to ignoring the RRPs. Everything is a decent price for Aussie stock.

Personally I think COTD has had a deservingly bad rep but IMO they've improved greatly in the last year. When I do buy from them I get stuff pretty quick. The last order took 5 working days.

    Ozbargaining, your doing it wrong!

  • Not a bargain. Google search finds cheaper with same delivery time.

    • In Australia? Which was the point I posted this.

  • I've seen them cheaper at Big W

    • Sure, when they made a mistake with the Halo remake.

  • Hey guys would anyone here know this cash back work if i purchased the speed wheel from COTD?

    https://www.msxboxaccessories.com.au/tc/

Apparently they give back 20% of the RRP not the price you paid… if im reading that correct?

    • or save a whopping $0.21 from alwaysonsale.com.au (with save10 coupon)

Definitely not a bargain, Here are some better prices:

    SR3 - $37 (instead of $50)

    BF3 $45 (instead of $50)
    http://www.ozgameshop.com/ps3-games/battlefield-3-game-ps3

    B:AC $38/35 (instead of $50)
    http://www.ozgameshop.com/ps3-games/batman-arkham-city-game-…
    http://www.ozgameshop.com/xbox-360-games/batman-arkham-city-…

When including digital-delivery, these are even worse…
    Fable 3 for $25? I got it for $7.50

    • None of that is Australian stock

      • assuming that the COTD ones are actually Australian stock…

When it arrives just as fast, is compatible, works exactly the same, and is just as good, why does it matter?

        • Read to post. Kids like to trade inat eb who wont accept imports. This was aimed specifically at them. So to those kids ozgameshop is not the bargain.
