  That keyboard is so wide that I think it'd interfere with the area your mouse would be in when you're using it

    agree. Bad design. The charging pad should be on the left. It's taking up too much space for the mouse

      No more than the numpad that it is taking the place of. I know that some people have TKL keyboards but most don't.
      I think this location would make it easier (for righties) to quickly access and use their phone while on the charging pad.

      Unrelated but this seems like a good way waste power and to reduce your battery life though.

    looks like it's taking up the same space as a typical number pad, do you think a standard keyboard with num pad is unusable?

  I'm a lefty so the layout is fine - except I use the num pad all the time… no deal.

    too bad the num pad doesn't seem to exist on the left side of any brand keyboard…. or i havent noticed
