Upcoming series of free self defense seminars taught by professional mixed martial arts fighters.

The seminars will be a beginner friendly, safe and fun introduction to real world practical self defense techniques that have been tried and tested by MMA athletes around the world.

Some of the topics that will be covered include:

  • Practical striking techniques
  • Basic and effective defense of punches and kicks.
  • Basic wrestling defense
  • An introduction to fundamental Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling concepts
  • Mindset and tactical thinking

These sessions will be open to anyone aged 14 years or older that are interested in participating and we are looking to host them on Tuesday evenings from 7.15PM - 8PM at our home gym in Cheltenham.

We understand that dipping your toes into martial arts training can be daunting and we look forward to providing a comfortable, low pressure environment for everyone involved - bring a friend or 2!

  • The best self defence is to run away

    • Run from the chicken, otherwise…

    • Anyhow, doesn't mean we can't step up if someone's in trouble. Also, it be difficult to run if someone next to you might grab you and you fall.

    How does it compare to Rex Kwon Do?

    • Idk, as far as I know, it's a new thing they're doing for the winter season.
