Razer Naga Pro Gaming Mouse $133 + $5 Shipping @ Harvey Norman (Online Only)

52

Razer Naga Pro is available online only at Harvey Norman so JB Hi Fi price matches this store. Stack with Coles Mastercard and current Ultimate Gift cards for further savings.

Edit: Users have pointed out a better deal on eBay, so if you don't mind waiting for delivery, then jump on it! Good catch.

Unsure of the end date sorry (until stocks last)?

I have this mouse and G502. For those who have (and like) Logitech, you may find the Naga doesn't quite fill the back corner of you palm. Not a deal breaker (I'm keeping the Naga) as it is a good mouse, but the Logitech just found the sweet spot for me personally.

    Thoughts on this?

Its a massive mouse, with buttons on the side that wear down quick.
The buttons get loose and start moving around in your fingers once you press them enough.
I never found a reason to use all 8!! buttons ever.
The buttons on the side of the mouse quickly get gunk and dust inbetween the keys that feel disgusting and the mouse is too heavy.

Been using my current one for a few years now. Side buttons are completely fine and don't even show any signs of wearing down.

Check your plate, this doesn't sound right whatsoever.

I never found a reason to use all 8!! buttons ever.

Unless you're playing MMOs or using macros, this mouse isn't for you.

This just reads like you're not maintaining or cleaning your mouse properly. I'd try cleaning it once in a while.

      • Big mang don't clean stuff

Can get this quite a bit cheaper at razer_au eBay with the current 20%/22% off coupon codes (stack with discounted gift cards of course).

    • Oops I was meant to reply to your comment directly. Good catch and great deal. Perhaps the JB deal might appeal to those who need a quick fix and easy warranty/return, otherwise eBay all day.
Great work and thanks for sharing

No worries, this still seems like the next cheapest, and apparently only a few left on eBay (but I wouldn’t be surprised if they actually have many more than 3 available; it’s razer themselves selling it after all).

  • Ah okay, my apologies, maybe not a ripper deal after all. Good price if you need a decent mouse in a pinch (I.e. Can get it in store rather than wait for delivery). RRP is like 270 at JB (on special for 200) so hopefully this saves someone some cash.

Regarding the mouse itself. It's ratings are fantastic. I think they are quite a personal preference based on hand size, shape, grip etc. It is a gaming MMO mouse, not for general every day use (although you can change the side plates quickly which is nice). I feel it is a light mouse, coming from a G502 with weight plates lol.

Terrible customer service + warranty support after you bought the mouse, stay away, mouse prone to sudden fail and RMA requires you to post the item to Corsair's Taiwan address

Why would you need to send a Razer mouse to Corsair?

Also no retailer in Australia should be able to pull the old "you have to send it back the manufacturer yourself" nonsense in the first year or so.

sending a razer mouse to corsair? never seen that tactic before 😂

  • I got this mouse recently and I've noticed random stuttering when on wirelss. The issue goes away when plugged in.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    • Sounds like WiFi interference mate. Can sometimes help to change frequency of your router. But it is likely interference from other devices. My microwave kills our entire internet lol.

Try running the mouse receiver on an extension cord right next to the mouse (if it fixes the problem then it is probably interference). Also make sure you have the mouse set to WiFi not Bluetooth (a trap my Mrs always falls into).

Not your situation, but I've also heard the mousepad you use can cause some grief with stuttering. A nice clean cloth pad should work a treat.

    • Yep, I have that issue while on bluetooth and 2.4GHz modes. Switching the mouse on and off does seem to fix it, but it does come back. So I have given up and just use the mouse wired.

What is really annoying for me, is that the mouse occasionally does not register button presses on the side plates, like I have to re-seat the plate to get it working.

    • Yes, I had 2 replaced (so I now have 3 of these which work as intended I suppose?)

      I just bluetooth now

  • Mouse is too wide. That pinky rest is totally unnecessary.

Have the non pro version and no way is that a pinky rest, unless you have child size hands. I rest the ring finger on that. I suppose if you are odd and have the middle finger always on the scroll wheel it could work as a pinky rest?\ Still need small hands for that.

      • It's apparently a controversial mouse, lol.

It's a ring finger rest. It is a light and wide mouse. I prefer the logitech thumb rest to the Naga ring finger rest personally. Naga would be near perfect if it had a thumb rest and filled the back corner of my palm better.

        :)

      • I have small hands I guess.

Damn, now I want to buy this mouse again and give it another try but I've fallen for the Razer Basilisk X. Cheap, wireless and comfortable.

How do you hold a mouse to be able to put your pinky there??

      • Lmao. I'm the guy Steve Jobs was warning us about. I was holding it wrong.
