That's what I noticed too! What a rubbish set!
Title should be "HALF the Great Pyramid of Giza".
I think it's a good idea. It fits better when it's displayed on a shelf and the back wouldn't be visible anyway.
If the set were to be sold at the same price and piece count but had a full pyramid then the pyramid would be too small and the front details would be out of scale.
Was ~$155 on metrohobbies ebay with code a couple of days ago fwiw.
I've seen some boring sets in my time but I think this one might actually put me to sleep.
Can't imagine this being a hot seller, 27% is quite nice but probably will see deep discounts on this one.
And the white will discolour over time esp if it gets any direct sunlight.
The originals look a little discoloured too after a few thousands years.

This one is on my definite purchase list. Awesome set and I hope they do more like it.
