Do not buy from Gshopper - purchased the Trouver Power Vac in May 21 many here did it was $99 bucks (discounted from 299 so they said). Nov 21 sent email battery was dying out at 2-3mins no reply, sent another email Jan 22 battery would not hold any charge. No response, send Vaccum to landfill. All i wanted was way to get replacement battery which it clear allowed for. Still using the Dream V9 which in May 2020 is still going does not last as long but its still working.

    • Agreed. Absolutely waste of money it was just ewaste. Wouldn't bother dealing with them again.

    • I remember seeing somewhere that it wasn't the battery itself but the wires or something inside that was of poor quality and could be fixed. I wish I bookmarked it.

    • As far as I know, people (including myself) managed to get a partial refund for Trouver faulty battery. They are quite responsive now if you contacting the seller via the website. It is still not very Australian way of handling the situation - they try to bargain with you on the refund amount, offering to buy the battery yourself. But they do something about it.
Btw, AFAIK GShopper is a marketplace, the seller was another company.
Never the less, the vacuum is waiting for its time to go to the landfill, and it is very unpleasant. So I decided to avoid such situations in the future and bought Dyson.

    • Agreed! Also bought the Trouver Power Vac. Battery died under warranty. Sent a message on GShopper asking for a replacement or refund, but no reply.
Edit - Just checked and they did reply back in May asking for the order number. So I have just sent the order number. Will update here if they offer a replacement battery or refund.

      • Yes, it took a bit before I realised that GShopper website messaging platform doesn't send any notifications to email.

      • Good luck getting a response now.

        • Yeah - probably wont. It's a shame because the vacuum itself wasn't too bad - but the battery degraded so quickly it became useless within a few months.

          • @great-price: They have asked me for a video of the battery life. So I took a video of the battery lasting 11 seconds from fully charged to dying. Let's see what happens now.

            • @great-price: Why do they want a video of a problem that affected 100% of its owners and a problem that's so well documented?
